G.A.P. - Girls in Alternative Placement
Most people do not know about these girls. Some are sent away at 10 and do not get out until 18. They are young pre-teen to teenage girls who are living in institutions. They are there because their home is not currently a viable option. Due to the separation from their family, the world can be a very lonely and scary place. Oftentimes, the trained and screened Youth Mentoring mentors are the only visitors these girls receive.
"Is there someone out there just for me?
Is there a person who cares about me without being paid to talk to me?"
The answer is yes, there is. God claims these children as His own and He is calling and sending Christian women to communicate His love that has been there all the time. These kids did not break the law. They are the broken ones. God is the healing answer. The impact on the girls who receive a mentor has been so great that the institution has requested a mentor for all their girls. Is God calling you? Contact us. We will join you in seeking the answer to this question.
